The first Sunday in our own Church Facility was celebrated on Sept. 14, 2008 with Holy Trinity decked in festive White. The Church facility officially changed owners on Friday, Sept. 12 at 2:30 PM when the Vestry of Holy Trinity took title from the Wesleyan Church.
Sunday morning began with the remnants of Hurricane Ike passing over the St Louis metropolitan area. The high winds and torrential downpour flooded parts of the city. Nevertheless, the Church was full by 10 AM, the Service was splendid, the sermon was delivered by Fr. Paul Walter, Dean of the St Louis AMiA Network, and was followed by a champagne toast and superb luncheon.
The people of the Church are united in Thanksgiving to God for His wonderful provisions that led up to this day and determined to use this facility for expanding the Kingdom of God.
